FAUZIAH DATO TALIBIntroduction Fauziah Dato Talib is the Chief Executive Officer of Indah Sejahtera Development & Services Sdn Bhd (known as ISDS), an IT Solutions Provider in Brunei Darussalam and the Co-founder of IQ Quest Service, an Orgnanizational Development Services Company. She Graduated from Brighton Polytechnic (now known as the University of Brighton) with a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Computers. Later in 1994 she attended Cornell University's postgraduate course on Professional Development Program for Real Estate Development and Hotel Investments. Her first international assignment was in 1990, for six years initially in Jakarta, then for the most part in Bali, Indonesia. She was appointed as the Owner’s Representative for the Brunei Investment Agency where she was responsible for the management of the Owning Company, supervising the renovation, operation and re-launching of the company owned upgraded hotel. Later in 1996 she was seconded as an advisor to the brother of the Sultan of Brunei on property asset management and real-estate investments, based in Los Angeles, USA, for the international market. Upon leaving her last employer in October of 1997, she subsequently went on an entrepreneurial pursuit when she set-up her own consulting company, as Managing Director of SAGE Hotel Investments Limited with her partner Peggy Suhirman, the Managing Director of SAGE Organizational Development Limited. She joined the ISDS team as an in-house consultant for the development Travel & Toursim related web business. After six months, she was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the company, to lead and manage the team. Ever since her joining the team she has successfully researched, developed and managed a number of new ventures, namely an auction site and a merchandising site. ISDS personal involvement in web business research, conceptualisation, design, development and operation brought about the company’s natural transition toward providing a total IT solutions service for Government, Corporate (include Financial Institutions) and SMEs. She is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei (YEAB), a member of the Malay Chamber of Commerce, a committee member of the E-Business Program Executive Committee (EBPEC) and the Awareness Working Group under the Brunei National Information Technology (BIT) Council and a national committee member of Pacific Economic Community Council (PECC). To this date she has been involved as a Chairwoman, Speaker, Moderator and Country Representative of APEC (Business Forum and Young Entrepreneurs and Leaders Forum), eAPEC, AEBF, PECC and other ICT related symposiums and workshops.
