LISA IBRAHIM

Introduction

Lisa Ibrahim is the Founder and Owner of LILS Management Services & LILS Business Centre. She graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK with a B.A in Business Management. Immediately after graduating in 1995 she started work as the Assistant Manager of Arkitek Ibrahim, a family company started by her father over 20 years ago.

After two years, Lisa followed her entrepreneurial instinct and decided to branch away from the family business. LILS Management Services was created in 1997 because she realised the potential of providing a niche service to assist entrepreneurs in setting up new companies.

A year later she identified the need for the provision of other business services like providing business centre services for foreign companies looking at opening up an office in Brunei. This was LILS Business Service Centre.

Since 1999, Lisa has served as Executive Support for the Chairman of APEC SME Business Forum & CEO Summit, Staffer of ABAC Member for Brunei Darussalam, and is Taskforce Leader for Media, Public Relations, Publicity & Promotions Committee for APEC SME Business Forum and the PA for Dato Hamdillah for the APEC CEO Summit 2000.

At the beginning of this year, Lisa realised the need for a grouping for young entrepreneurs in Brunei to join forces and the Young Entrepreneurs Association was formed. She is the Pro-Tem President and Founding member of the newly formed Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei, a non-profit organization which seeks to unite young entrepreneurs in Brunei.

Lisa also serves in a non-executive position on the Board of Directors of various local companies in Brunei:
* Director – Bahagia Distributors Sdn Bhd
* Director – Pansar Co. Sdn Bhd
* Director – Borneo Tan Chong Industrial Machinery Sdn Bhd
* Director – TCB-Ibrahim Sdn Bhd
