Introduction
Pehin Orang Kaya Ratna Setia Dato Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Hapidz bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laksmana Hj Awg Abdul Razak is the owner of Abdul Razak Holdings, a company which was established on 5th October 1978 by the family of Allahyarham Pehin Orang Kaya Laksmana Haji Awang Abdul Razak.
The Primary activities of Abdul Razak Holdings(ARH) are the property development and hotel operation. In the field of property development, ARH is one of the biggest private property developer in Brunei Darussalam, Having built commercial and residential properties totalling approximately 2.2 million sq ft such as the Mall Gadong, a bold, futuristic complex that has set the standards of Brunei Darussalam’s retail industry; the Centrepoint Hotel uniquely designed to offer all of the amenities and convenience of a hotel, with the comforts of a home and Abdul Razak Hotel Apartments offering the luxuries of hotels with the comfort and convenience of home.
Pehin Dato Abdul Hapidz is a very active businessman. Among others he also served as the Presidency of the Malay Brunei Darussalam Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1964 to 1999. He was bestowed the title Pehin Orang Kaya Ratna Setia by His Majesty the Sultan in 2004.
