Introduction
The International Conference Contemporary Issues in Economic Development of Small States was organised by Universiti Brunei Darussalam and was conducted at the Chancellor's Hall, UBD on 5th to 6th January 2005.
It was officiated by Hon Pehin Dato Ahmad Jumat, the Minister of Development and the Keynote Address was delivered by Pehin Dato Maj Gen (Ret) Mohammad Daud, Chairman of Brunei Darussalam Economic Development Board.
